Engineering Scholarship

 
 On 19th November 2015 the BDAE made the first award of £1000 (increased to £1250 from 2018 & 2020-22 a runner up was also awarded £625) as a BDAE Engineering Scholarship to a student in their second A Level Year who will be attending University. 
 

We have since updated our Engineering Scholarship, both in the number of awards and simplification of the process:

We have expanded the scholarship to multiple awards – winners will receive £1,000.

The Scholarship is open to all
• Self-funding students in South Cumbria
• Entering a full-time STEM related Degree Course
• Course starting in September each year

Applicants required to submit a 500-word essay entitled
“Why I need the BDAE Engineering Scholarship to support me
studying for a STEM Degree”

Applications Opened on early December each year
Closes end February each year
