Directions to the venues are given below, assuming that you will be coming to Barrow by car. There is a railway station in Barrow and trains connect with the West-Coast line at Lancaster or Preston and with trans-pennine routes at Carnforth. Taxis are available outside the station and all of the venues are only a short journey away.

Follow the A590 from Junction 36 on the M6 to Ulverston and beyond to the Dalton By-pass and into Barrow. Bear left at the roundabout with Pizza Hut to your right and Tesco in-front. Continue straight across the mini-roundabout at the entrance to Tesco. After the mini roundabout, take the 8th road on the left (Market Street). Long and short stay car parks (free in the evenings) are just across the box junction at the rear of the red-stone Town Hall. Forum 28 is a short walk away, opposite the front of the Town Hall.

The Lisdoonie Hotel is a further half mile on the same side of Abbey Road as the Chetwynde. Past one set of pedestrian lights and one set of traffic lights at the brow of the hill.
