"OCEANIC PEARL" VISIT


On May 27th, 2004 BDAE visited James Fisher & Sons cable laying ship "Oceanic Pearl". We had a most comprehensive tour and there were many questions with respect to operation, maintenance, and the problems and complexities of deep ocean cable laying of which few of us were aware. All the queries were ably fielded by the team who took us on board to show us round to whom we are most grateful.
